Tribute to Karim Manji

Karim, I somehow hope you may read this or hear this across the ether in one way or another... I am still somewhat at a loss for words, how can you be here only recently, only to be gone in the form that we knew you in for now... Too soon and it feels you still had so much to give and be... I keep thinking back to so many memories, so many shared conversations, walks, meals and so many sangha afternoons... I so valued our talks about the practice and how to apply it and be it in the world, even when there were more questions than answers... You felt like such a kindred spirit and a friend on the path. The only thing that makes sense is that perhaps you agreed on some soul level to take one for the team and go early so that we may each be reminded of the fleetingness of life and really live it fully, continuing your dedication to the practice, kindness and benefit for all..? If so, that is some serious selflessness and unbeatable karma points!;) Thinking of you and your life aspirations and how I may honour your life with some continued good dharma... With love & appreciation for our friendship over the years. May you continue beautifully into the next form, I feel that you will...
